  • Union and separation of classes
  • We have reviewed functionalities concerning the union or separation of classes.
  • In step 4, it became easier and intuitive to use these options, so that when you use them, will be identified with an icon next to the discipline name that union or separation is set.
  • Clicking on the icon, you can undo the union or separation and include new ones.
  • New reports with customized formatting options and printing PDF
  • Made available in the solution's editor, several reporting options beyond the traditional reports per classrooms and per teachers.
  • You can also customize the formatting with the start and end hours for each allocated space and determine whether the colors should be applied or just simple formatting.
  • Printing in pdf file is available and will respect formatting options selected in the report. We look forward to your review and your suggestion to make this functionality even more interesting .
  • Return of Fixed Schedules functionality.
  • The functionality of FIXED SCHEDULES who had been disabled is back, and much easier to apply.
  • In step 6, click the FIXED CLASSES menu to be directed to the new Solutions editor in order to include the fixed schedules.
  • After you finish allocate classes that must be fixed, save and click back. Remembering that this feature should be used with caution, as fix schedules eliminates several combination possibilities harming other teachers with limited availability.

  • Made available new options to improve the teaching quality of the timetable.
  • In Step 6 click the DIDACTIC GROUPING button. Use this option to avoid certain subjects are taught in the same day or in sequence.
  • Use this option to avoid, for example, that very dense disciplines, of the same type, or at yours criteria should not be together or close (in sequence or in the same day).
  • Mount the filter and make combinations with any disciplines in one or more classes.
  • Monitoring Real-Time Processing
  • Now you can follow the processing of your timetable in real-time.
  • After putting your timetable to process, select the option to track the real-time processing.
  • You can see the position in the processing queue of our servers and the status of the solution being generated each item.
  • At the end of processing you may click to go directly to the generated solution. A traditional email will still be generated to inform that the processing ended.

  • NEW MULTI-WEEKS SYSTEM
  • In response to the latest requests from our users, we have created a new method for schools that have rooms on the same period but that start at different schedules or
  • It is possible to create multiple versions of the same period with different duration, intervals and start schedules. Each version of a period may be assigned to a different room that will function in this setting.
  • Easy Schedule will respect the schedules of professors who will be assigned to classrooms with different versions of the period not allowing the possibility of shocks in the schedules.
  • To create a different version of you week, go to step 2, and setup you main week. Then, click in "+ ADD +" located in the left side vertical bar, to add a new different version of your main week. If there is more than one definition of week in your schedule, Easy Schedule will require that you inform which definition will you use to each classroom in step 4.
  • NEW OPTION TO CONFIGURE THE DUPLICATED LESSONS OF THE PROFESSORS
  • You can now use the new DEATAILED CONFIGURATION FOR DUPLICATED LESSONS.
  • If the configurations GENERAL, FOR PROFESSOR or FOR SUBJECT weren't enough to attend the needs to join and separate the professors' lessons, we introduce the new option to exactly determine the configuration for each subject in each classroom to each professor. This new option is called DETAILED CONFIGURATION.
  • With this new detailed configuration you can use the new option DUPLICATE PARCIALLY for the professors who lecture 3 lessons in one classroom. The system will force 2 lessons to be together and 1 lesson to be alone in another day.
  • To access the DETAILED CONFIGURATION, just edit your schedule and go to step 6 where you can access this option.
  • NEW SOLUTIONS EDITOR
  • Now you can create and edit your own solutions with the new Easy Schedule editor.
  • The solutions editor allows you to create your solution blocking the common mistakes of the procedure. It is extremely easy and intuitive to use.
  • With this tool you can find the possible availability problems of your schedule.
  • To use the editor, just login to Easy Schedule and create you schedule from steps 1 to 6. Then, click to exit the schedule's registration. The Solutions Editor icon will be side by side with the other command buttons in the main page of your created schedules.

  • OPTION TO COPY / DUPLICATE THE SCHEDULE'S REGISTRATION
  • We added an option to copy / duplicate the schedule You can use this option to make simulations without touching in your main registration or to start a new schedule by taking advantage of a previous registration.
  • It is possible to copy the entire schedule or just part of it, respecting obviously, the dependency of the elements which compose it.
  • To duplicate the schedule, login or click in My Schedules in Easy Schedule's main page. Each schedule has a DUPLICATE button side by side with the EDIT button in the command menu of the main page.
  • NEW REGISTRATION OF ENVIRONEMNTS
  • If a lesson is not given in the assigned classroom, it can use another space that cannot be shared at the same time by other classrooms.
  • In this case, we have created an environment registration so you can tell to Easy Schedule where that lesson should be lectured.
  • To create an environment, go to step 4 and click in the button "ENVIRONMENTS". Provide a list of environments with a meaningful name, for example: Music Room, Laboratory, Teaching Center etc.. Close the assistant
  • Then, click on the classroom and on the schedule grid of this classroom and check the environment in which the lesson will be held. Only use the environment registration if the lesson is not given in its designated classroom and if this space cannot be utilized by other classrooms at the same time.
  • NEW OPTION TO SAVE THE SCHEDULE'S SOLUTION TO EXCEL FORMAT
  • We added a button in the schedule's
  • There was already the option to click with the right button, select all, copy and paste into the spreadsheet editor, but now this feature got more practical and convenient.
  • The solution's confirmation email will be dispatched with an attached file that has the solution in the .xls (excel) format.
  • NEW WAY TO DETERMINE THE PROFESSORS' "ACTIVITY" LESSONS.
  • We have created a new way to register the professors' 'ACTIVITY' LESSONS, to make it even easier and with a better quality regarding the final solution.
  • You can determine a fixed number of "activity" lessons to one subject of the professor, or determine a percentage regarding the number of subjects allocated to the professor.
  • To make this registration, go to step 5 and click on the professor you want to edit. Ahead of each subject lectured by the professor, there is a combination to determine the number of "activity" lessons or its percentage.
  • PRIORITY TO REDUCE THE PROFESSORS' DAYS OFF
  • We have created a new tool to improve the reduction of the professors' days off in which the combination does not exist.
  • You can determine the priority of the vacancies reduction with a number from 1 to 10. Professors with a priority of 10 will be benefit the most in this process. If all the professors have the same number, there will be no benefit.
  • To determine the priority, go to STEP 6 and click in PROCESSMENT PARAMETERS. In front of the item DELETE PROFESSORS' DAYS OFF, click in the PRIORITY BY PROFESSOR button.

  • DEFINITION OF THE CLASSROOMS LOCATIONS
  • Institutions that have more than 1 unit, buildings or that lecture in different places that cause some type of impact in the travelling time of the professors, can now register this very easily.
  • Easy Schedule will adequately consider the travelling time of the professors from one place to another. You have all the flexibility to specify the travelling time of the locations or even if it is only possible to go from one place to another in another day.
  • To set one or more locations, just go to STEP 4 e click in the SET LOCATION button. After informing the locations’ nomenclatures, inform the distance in lesson time form one place to another.
  • MULTIPLE PERIODS IN THE SAME SCHEDULE
  • You can now create your schedule with various periods in the same schedule
  • Each period can be personalized with the number of lessons, time, beginning schedules and intervals independent from each other. This improvement allows the construction of your institution's week to be more flexible, in order to represent with 100$ fidelity the real situation of the working schedule of your institution and therefore manage to obtain a better quality schedule combination.
  • To register the periods, just go to STEP 2 and click in CREATE WEEK. After creating the first period click in ADD PERIOD.
  • A MORE FLEXIBLE OPTION TO SET THE PROFESSORS' CLASSROOMS
  • We added an option to DENY a certain classroom to a certain subject of the professor.
  • With this new option you can command Easy Schedule to set which professor should lecture certain subject EXCEPT in certain classroom(s).
  • Alongside with the previous feature of fixing a professor's subject in a classroom, you can now build a much more flexible combination, increasing this way the probability of a fairly good solution.
  • To set or DENY a classroom, just go to STEP 4 and click in new classroom. Next, after registereing the basic data of the classroom, it will be made availible in the last assistent the option to deny or set the classroom.
  • NEW FEATURE ADDED - REUNION ROOMS to professors
  • Now youcan create the schedule grid of the professors and plan at the same time possible meetings that these should do on a weekly basis.
  • It is needed to mount the class councils, lesson planing and other activities that take 1 or more hours-classroom from the professor and that unables it to be in other place in that exact time.
  • To create the meeting room, just go to step 4, click in new room and choose the option MEETING ROOM. Add the themes / subjects / activities freely to the classroom
  • Next, go to STEP 5 and add the theme / subject / activity to each professor that should participate obligatorily.
  • Easy Schedule will automatically allocate all the participant reunion professors in the same classroom in the same schedule.
  • NEW FEATURE ADDED - SIMULTANEOUS LESSONS (Association of Lessons)
  • Now you can create the schedule grid by joining classes that should be lectured in a certain subject at the same time.
  • It is needed, for example, to force 5th and 6th Series to have the gym class at the same time.
  • To create a simultaneous lesson, just go to step 4. After normally registering your classrooms, click in the button ASSOCIATION OF LESSONS.
  • Next, select the classrooms that should be associated and the respective subject. Click in SAVE.
  • Easy Schedule will automaticly allocate the classrooms to do that subject at the same time.
  • NEW WAYS TO DETERMINE THE AVAILIBILITY OF THE PROFESSOR
  • Now, besides having the hability to freely enable and disable the professors schedules in the week, we have introduced a new and more versatile option to build the professors' availibility.
  • We have introduced the registration of days off and daily limits.
  • Registring a day off is less restrictive than close a certain day of the professor. With the new registreation you can tell to Easy Schedule which professor should have 1 day off between monday, tuesday and friday for example.
  • Before you would have to choose one of these days and close the schedules in red, which leaves it very restrictive, and penalize the other teachers.
  • You can now manage the daily availibility of each professor as well as the weekly limit that already existed
